"Seek God and you will find God. Seek God in all things and you will find God in all things. Seek God always and you will find God always."
The Love of God Impels Us
“Rejoice always, never cease praying, render constant thanks;
such is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Entering into prayer, whether it be contemplative prayer or communal prayer, is really about entering into the presence of love. Prayer is the space in which we, as Pallottines, allow ourselves to encounter God’s Divine Love and be transformed by God’s infinite love and mercy.
Our prayer life and spirituality encompass both the sacraments of the Catholic church, the Divine Office and the spiritual traditions of our founder, St. Vincent Pallotti. Our renewal for ministry and prayer comes from the daily participation of the Mass and the support we receive through our living in community.
A large part of our Pallottine spiritual charism is to “seek God in all things,” thus we strive to love God, with our whole heart and mind, with every choice and decision, and with every action, so that we may be drawn deeper into the knowledge of Infinite Love and Mercy – so as to be apostles of Jesus Christ and draw others into the unremitting mercy of God.
Immediately after rising & throughout the day, all make the Sign of the Cross & renew their trust in God: to be strengthened by the power of the Father, to be enlightened by the wisdom of the Son, and to be sanctified by the love of the Holy Spirit. And as they bless themselves say: Of myself I can do nothing; with God I can do anything; I want to do everything for love of God.
