"Seek God and you will find God. Seek God in all things and you will find God in all things. Seek God always and you will find God always."
The Love of God Impels Us
“I have longed to give you the Gospel, and more than that,
I give you our very lives, so dear had you become to us.”
1 Thessalonians 2:8
The term “apostolate” may be an unusual word but for the Pallottines it is very important. St. Vincent Pallotti believed that all of us are called to be apostles, proclaimers of the Gospel message to the world. The mission of the apostle is one’s apostolate.
The primary apostolate of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters is to spread the Gospel message to everyone by our words and actions through any means possible. Our second apostolate is to then empower others to discover their gifts and talents so they in turn can spread the Gospel message in the way that God calls them to do.
Like other religious orders our apostolate is carried out through our various ministries. Because St. Vincent believed that each of us was given specific gifts and talents to spread the Gospel message we are not involved in just one or two ministries. Our sisters have been involved in the traditional ministries of health care and education, but they also have participated in other ministries: parish ministry, spiritual direction, prison ministry, fine arts ministry, ministry to the homebound, pastoral care, prayer, etc.
God is charity in His essence; therefore man, who is a reflection of the Divine, is a living image of Charity. Since God is perfect in loving man, man must be perfect in loving his neighbor.
